Some caretakers on these outer islands allow overnight stays for a minor entrance or camping fee. Sleeping on the beach here means having pristine, crystal-clear water right outside your tent flap. For a wilder trip, set up camp on the mainland beaches of West Busuanga or take an overnight boat to Black Island. Camping near these dramatic limestone cliffs offers incredible quiet after the day visitors leave. The camping fee on Black Island is around 500 PHP, and you must bring your own gear. This is one of our absolute favorite spots for an overnight island escape. Pass Island features soft grassy areas perfect for pitching a small tent, as well as simple bamboo huts. The sunsets and clear night skies here are unbelievable. Island huts cost around 2,000 PHP per night, while pitching your own tent costs a 500 PHP camping fee.
Mainland Busuanga (Riverside, Eco-Farms & Trails)
If you prefer to camp without taking a boat, several mainland spots offer easy access by road along with fresh water and home-cooked meals.
Mount Avangan Eco Adventure Park
Located just a 10-minute motorbike ride from Coron Town, this park lets you camp on a high hill with sweeping mountain views and access to a swimming pool. The host is super friendly and welcoming.

Camping along the white sand coast at Lakdayan Beach in Barangay Cheey is a fantastic experience—and you don’t even need to carry your own gear. You can rent tents, hammocks, food, and cold drinks directly at Adela’s Beach Camp or MacBeach 2. It is easily accessible by motorbike or minivan.
San Nicolas Valley Trail (Mountain Camp)
Tucked away along the San Nicolas Valley trail, you will find a small trailside cafe with flat plateaus designed for pitching tents. Food and drinks are available, but you must register beforehand. Send us an email a day or two before your trip, and we will connect you directly with the owner.

To keep these islands pristine for locals and future travelers, please follow these core rules during your stay:
Always Ask Permission: Almost every beach and island in the Calamian archipelago belongs to an indigenous community (the Tagbanwa people), a local family, or a private landowner. Always speak to the local caretaker, pay the small beach or camping fee, and confirm where you are allowed to pitch your tent.
Leave No Trace: Pack out every piece of trash you bring in. Do not leave plastic wrappers, food containers, or bottle caps on the beaches or in the ocean.
Campfire Safety: Only build campfires in designated fire pits or below the high-tide line using fallen driftwood. Never cut down live trees or mangrove branches for firewood.
